Meeting Minutes

December 22, 2015

Meeting was called to order at 6:42 by President Mike Peavy.

Lion Keith: For Christmas coming

Lion Scott: For only one more day of work this week

Lion Mae: For No work for 2 wks.

Lion Kim: That we are all here.

Lion Mike: No work tomorrow

Secretary update: Need to pass the meeting minutes from 12-8. Lion Kim made a motion to accept, Lion Scott 2nd. It was passed unanimously. Secretary Tracy reminded everyone to sign up for a mobile meeting. The next one is Jan 26th at Town Hall Lounge in Loves Park. The next zone meeting is coming up at Nunzios. Sign up now. Also save the date for the convention April 1-2 at the Radisson. We also got the form to renew the PO Box. Lion Kim made a motion to renew for 6 months at $30. Lion Scott 2nd the motion. It was passed unanimously.

Treasurers Report: Lion Will updated us on the financials, with changes made to the accounts. Lion Tracy made a motion to pass the treasurers report. Lion Kim 2nd it. Passed unanimously.

Committee Reports: Lion Kim and Lion Mike updated us on the families that we sponsored for Christmas.

Pool Party- 3/26/2016 No update

New Business:

Culvers – January 17th 5-8 pm. Lion Keith made a motion for $150 for Pickles the clown for that night. Lion Christina 2nd it , Passed unanimously.

RMH- Hot Chocolate, cookies and a movie. But we are looking at the end of January. More update later when a date is picked.

Rose Day Kickoff- January 9th Lion Andrew is going. April 8th is delivery day, volunteers will be needed.

Center for Sight and Hearing Raffle- Coming up soon.

District Calendars- Calendars have changed just to a raffle called 20 for plenty. Get a raffle ticket for $20 for 156 times to win.

Old Business-

Crafty Kids- Lion Mae brought up that we may want to change the wording to be an open house because everyone thinks they need to show up right at the beginning. Otherwise it went ok. We are looking at the 13th for Valentines Day It was talked about possibly next year combining with Shirland schools Breakfast with Santa. Also Kims Chiropractor is interested in sponsoring a Crafty Kids, so they are tossing around an idea on how to do that.

St Vincent DePaul- We served 300 people. Our Boylan Kids did awesome. We had 15 members present and 4 non-members. We were able to give a $250 donation to the food pantry.

LEO Club- Lion Kim updated that Mrs. Vermett at Stephen Mack has agreed to help, so hopefully at the end of January we can get moving .

Lion Will will bring the gift next time for the gift game. Lion Tracy made a motion to adjourn at 7:36. Lion Kim 2nd it. It was passed unanimously.
