1.Are our boxes and drawers acid free?
Fellowes Bankers Box® storage boxes are classified as pH neutral, with the pH ranging from 7.1 to 8.1. Our boxes are acid neutral.
2.What is the recycled content in boxes and drawers – pre and post consumer waste and recycled %?
All Kraft boxes/drawers are 100% Post consumer waste and 100% Recycled.
All Oyster or coloured boxes/drawers are 6% Pre consumer waste, 50% Post consumer waste and 60% Recycled.
3. What is the difference between Pre consumer waste and Post consumer waste?
Preconsumer waste is material that is being reused/recycled before it ever goes to market (e.g. paper scraps off of a paper mill floor going back into the next batch of paper). Waste material generated during the manufacturing process.
Post consumer waste is material that is being reused/recycled after it has been in the consumer’s hands (e.g., a newspaper going back to the paper mill to be recycled into new recycled content paper products). Material or product used by the consumer for its original purpose and then discarded.
4.How do you assemble a box?
Please refer to the general instructions printed with images on the bottom flaps of the box.

5. How many pounds of paper do the most popular box sizes hold?
24" letter size - holds the contents of one letter size file drawer or 60 lbs. of paper.
24" legal size - holds the contents of one legal size file drawer or 70 lbs. of paper.
Letter/Legal boxes will hold 40 lbs. of paper.
6. Is there a warranty on Bankers Box® products?
Fellowes warrants that all BANKERS BOX® products will be free from material defects at the time of purchase. Any products found to be materially defective at the time of purchase will, be replaced.

9. How do you install hanging folder rails on the Stor/Drawers Steel Plus?
Simply clip the hanging folder rail to the edge of the drawer. These rails are removable for added convenience.
