First Announcement

On behalf of the IOBC/WPRS WG “Integrated Plant Protection in Fruit Crops”, Subgroups"Pome fruit arthropods" and "Stone fruits", you are cordially invited to the forthcoming meetingthat will take place from 6th to 9th of October 2014 in Vienna(Austria)at the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES).

The aims of the meeting are bring together the latest advances in research on the integrated and organic plant protection in pome and stone fruits, provide an opportunity for exchange information and ideas and stimulate common research and collaboration.

Please, fill out the enclosed pre-registration form and send it to the local organizer Christa Lethmayer, , before 1stFebruary 2014.

Accommodation:

It is planned to offer 3 hotels – one hotel is just opposite the conference venue (only 23 rooms available), the other hotels (with about 30 rooms each) are not in direct vicinity to AGES but located near metro; time/way to AGES will be about 30 minutes with public transport (metro + bus) – and to the city centre about 15 minutes (only with metro).

Nevertheless, everyone can choose his own accommodation as desired.

Accodomation costs are not included in the registration fee.

Travel:

It is supposed that travelling to Vienna is known. Anyway, if there are still questions, please contact us.

Detailed information for finding the meeting location, AGES, will be given in the 2nd announcement.

Excursion:

An one-day excursion is planned for Thursday, 9th October 2014 after the official program.

Costs will be paid extra and will not be included in the registration fee.
