Our Shaw Brick division is currently looking for Sales/Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Lantz, Nova Scotia. This individual will work hand in hand with Customers, Shaw Customer Service Representatives and Shaw Transport Team Members to ensure we deliver a superior customer solution.

This individual will be eager to learn and grow. A strong customer service ethic, calm under pressure attitude and the ability to understand systems and develop new solutions will all be important for success.

As an integral part of our sales team the successful candidate will:

o  Represent the Shaw Group in a professional and respectful manner.

o  Work hand in hand with Customer Service Representatives, Shaw Transport Team members and Shaw Sales staff to provide improved customer delivery service.

o  Assist with the logistics, including load scheduling, optimizing loads, load checking and coordinating loads.

o  Build customer relationships, including real-time customer support regarding questions on products, pricing and deliveries.

o  Proactively advise customers when deadlines will not be met and provide “in area” calls regarding deliveries.

o  Identifying solutions to conflicts between deliveries, timing, and customer inquiries.

o  Develop solutions and systems to improve our delivery service (e.g. load checking & optimizing).

o  Contribute to administrative process improvements.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

o  College or university education, preferably in a business or logistics related program.

o  Customer service focus, complemented by excellent communication skills and superior time management skills.

o  Interpersonal Skills – Relationship builder.

o  Ability to see big picture and figure out what to do without a detailed playbook.

o  Creative problem solver with a solution-minded approach.

o  Proficient in computer software including Strong Microsoft Office.
