Learning & Development Assistant

SALARY: £22,000 per annum
REPORTS TO:Learning & Development Manager
LOCATION: London (Waterloo)
ROLE OBJECTIVES
You will report to the L&D Manager and will be responsible for coordinating all training and events, maintaining and managing our Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting the evaluation of the impact of all L&D interventions.
Furthermore, by working closely with key stakeholders in the organisation you will be supporting the L&D manager to ensure all L&D interventions are in line with business objectives.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordination of all L&D activity
- Managing our Learning Management System and enhancing the current methods we use for managing, delivering and evaluating L&D activity
Coordination
- Coordinating all logistics for training and events, including scheduling internal and external providers, venues, resources, travel and accommodation
- Working alongside regional reps to prepare for and set up and set down all training sessions
Learning Management System
- Maintaining and managing the Learning Management System including administrating learner’s records, monitoring and reporting activity, designing and creating e-learning modules
Administration and support
- Managing training registration process and being the first line support for all emails and queries regarding training
- Work closely with the L&D Manager to monitor and maintain L&D processes including evaluation of interventions
- Support L&D Manager to collate spend against L&D budget
Research
- Researching new L&D initiatives and interventions
- Sourcing new providers for L&D opportunities
Training Design & Delivery
- Design e-learning content for blended learning training courses
- Support L&D Manager with classroom-based training session design
- Support L&D Manager with training delivery where appropriate

Essential:
Skill Competencies
- Demonstrable experience of managing and coordinating events within a training / team-building setting
- Proven experience of managing a high volume of events at any one time
- Excellent organisational skills including the ability to manage a busy workload and multiple priorities
- A natural and effective communicator (verbal and written), with ability to build credible relationships quickly and influence at all levels
- Proven experience of conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis and developing plans based on results
- Strong attention to detail and emphasis on high quality work
- Demonstrable experience of creating and implementing a new administrative process
- Proven capabilities dealing with confidential and sensitive information
