Our Favourite Friday Favourites: There was a great response to the library favourites feature on Friday. Same again this Friday, with a new theme.
Ones we liked from Friday were:
· Books are about people and people are fascinating, unfashionable and frequently fantastic.
· I love books because they make think: what if I were that person.
· I can fall into the depths of despair of a character without being called an 'emo'.
Moray Community Theatre: Moray Community Theatre presents the fun musical "Return to the Forbidden Planet" in Elgin Town Hall from 3rd-6th June. This light-hearted show is setaboard a spaceship, features many musical hits and stars our very own Mr Harris and Mrs Munro. Tickets are available from Bijou Mon-Fri and from the St Giles centre on Saturday. (NM)
Greenhouse: We still do not have enough 2lt plastic bottles for our greenhouse so please bring in as many as you can so we can complete this project. We still need around 1000 bottles. Bottles can be brought to the HE department or left at the reception. (HH)

Modern Languages: Could all S3 pupils involved in teaching Mandarin come to a second meeting today, Monday 1 June, in B12 (Ms Lyall's room) at 1.00. Feel free to bring your lunch with you. (LL)
New S2/S3 Rugby: Would all pupils in new S2 S3 who want to play in a school rugby match this Wednesday Periods 5 & 6 at home on the school rugby pitch, please come toa SHORT meeting today in G 13 at 1.20pm. Any questions please see Mr Kelly in Physics. (PK)
Lossiemouth Football Tournament: Any S1-S3 footballers interested in the Lossie football tournament to be held on Sunday 14th June? Will be 5-a-side with squads of 7 only. Teams can be entered for Under 13 / 14 / 15 level and will cost £10 per team. Transport to and from Lossie will not be provided by the school. Anyone interested please see Mr Baker or Mr McAvinue. Job Vacancy: Springfield Properties (Commercial Quantity Surveying Team) are looking to recruit a full time commercial assistant. Main responsibilities would be:
· Processing sub-contractor claims
· Assisting in the preparation and issuing of tender documents
· Measuring quantities and assessing resource requirements and costs within a tender
· General administrative duties including copying, filing and folding drawings
