Robin Ince brings his UK tour to the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre

Award winning comedian Robin Ince comes to the Stanley & Audrey Burton Theatre this month, bringing his new Happiness Through Science show straight from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2011.

To date Robin’s stand-up career has earned him three Chortle Awards, the Time Out Outstanding Achievement Award and a nomination for the Best Live Show at the British Comedy Awards. His 2011 national tour of Uncaged Monkeys sold out shows across the country, including two nights at the Hammersmith Apollo.

Robin’s TV credits include Mock the Week, The 11 O’Clock Show and The Office; although he is probably best known as the acclaimed co-presenter of BBC Radio 4’s The Infinite Monkey Cage with Professor Brian Cox. Now in its fifth series, the programme takes a witty, irreverent look at the world according to science and has won multiple awards including the Sony Gold Award for Best Speech Programme.

Happiness Through Science continues Robin’s comic exploration of the human condition and asks can you be happy and rational at the same time? Don’t miss you’re only chance to catch it in Leeds this spring.

Tickets can be booked online through theatreleeds.com or through the Box Office on 0113 220 8008.
