Believe it or not, motivation is one of the few things teachers are able to influence. Find out how learning theory explains this. Then, try your hand at applying learning theory to common teaching strategies.
Creating a "Promising" Syllabus – Feb. 9
Explore the evolving role of syllabi in higher education. Learn how a few changes to the traditional syllabus document can positively impact student motivation and follow through. A promising syllabus rubric is provided.
