PROJECT BRIEF
The title of the project is “Social Media Marketing Communications: An Investigation of Globacom Customers’ Twitter Engagement Behaviour.” The project seeks to describe social media marketing communications and investigate the factors influencing Globacom customers’ twitter engagement behaviour based on the conceptual model of social media content and social media engagement behaviour proposed by Dolan et al. (2016) including some other relevant factors identified by other literatures so that empirical conclusions can be made, and solutions recommended.
WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?
Nigerians that are from 18 years and aboveand are Globacom customers with a twitter account (followers and non-followers) on Globacom twitter page are eligible to participate because this investigation is about them only and would like to receive only their response to the survey questions for better conclusions and recommendations for Globacom Nigeria.
DO I HAVE TO TAKE PART?
No, you must not take part in the survey but if you wish to take part then, it would be very helpful, you can keep a copy of this document and indicate your agreement to the online consentformbefore responding to the survey questions. You can still withdraw at any time without giving a reason.

WHAT ARE THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PROJECT?
Participating in this project does not have any risk associated with it that will negatively impact on your life.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF PARTICIPATING?
There are no immediate benefits for you as a participant, but it is hoped that this project will help your network provider, Globacom to satisfy your needs better and improve their social media marketing.
WITHDRAWAL OPTIONS
You are at liberty to withdraw at any time from participating in this research without prior notice or obligation to give a reason.
DATA PROTECTION AND CONFIDENTIALITY
All data that will be collected from you during this project period will be kept secured and confidential adhering fully to the data protection laws for research in the UK. Once the project is completed and it is confirmed that there will be no amendments, data saved in the university’s one drive and on the password protected personal computer will be destroyed completely.
WHO DO I COMPLAIN TO?
You can complain to the researcher and if not satisfied, further complaints can be made to the supervisor of this project. Please feel free to do so and the contact details are provided at the end of this document.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE RESULTS OF THIS STUDY?
Results of this study will be submitted to the exam board of Coventry University as part of the requirements to award an MSc degree in Management Information Systems to the researcher.
WHO HAS REVIEWED THIS PROJECT?
The project has been reviewed by the supervisor and has received ethical approval from the ethics board of Coventry University, UK.
