Dear Little League Supporter:
My name is Chip Matthews and I am on the 2018 Board of Directors of the Karns West Knox County Little League (WKCLL). With the 2018season approaching, the WKCLL is again requesting support from our community through our sponsorship program. Since its establishment in 1973 as a community-based volunteer organization, the WKCLL has relied on area businesses, organizations and individuals to help support the 500+ boys and girls (ages 6-12) who participate in our Little League baseball programs each year. Sponsorships are essential to the success of our program and provide funds for uniforms, equipment, maintenance and other items that allow us to keep player fees to a minimum. The WKCLL of Karns is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization chartered under Little League Baseball Incorporated of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and is operated by annually elected Officers and Board members who coordinate the league operations and activities. The WKCLL is proud to be the only youth baseball program in Knox County with an affiliation to Little League Baseball and as such we receive no funding and services from the County or any other government source.
During and after the 2018 season we will once again be hosting a number of key tournaments on our ball fields. The support of our sponsors also helps to cover costs associated with hosting these key Little League tournaments in Karns, which have been very successful over the last few years drawing hundreds of players, parents and spectators into our community during the summer.
We are seeking a major sponsorship from your business. We are in need of some significant repairs to our field (fencing, sod, Scoreboard, and maintenance equipment). All donations are helpful and we are looking to further our relationship with our community businesses.In turn we have options to put banners on our fields, also at the entrance of our fields. We have a new state of the art website that we are going to roll out in January 2018 and would like to add a banner/link on there for you as well.
If you elect to support the Karns out with a check made payable to West Knox County Little League.Sponsorships to the league are tax deductible as permitted by the IRS.
