Meeting important main agenda :
(A) Executive Body Election is vital for BCCIJ existence.
(B) Election will be held with 181 Members whom were issued “ID Card”.
(C) At this time laid down Membership renewal program hereby aborted & hence those renewal payments made will refund.
**Hereunder a short background on captioned general meeting:
On 7th June , 2012 a joint meeting held, attended by Election Commission Members & Steering Committee Members.
In this meeting it has been unanimously decided to postpone BCCIJ Executive Body Election scheduled on 28th June,2012 & instead call the Members General Meeting taking into consideration following facts ,
1) Membership Renewal result showed a very poor response. Out of total 181 Member
Companies only 26 Companies responded.
2) In this coming General meeting decision need to be taken that in present situation how we can proceed to hold Election to elect BCCIJ Executive Body.
In absence of elected BCCIJ Executive Body , Chamber is not functioning any.
It is utmost duty of Member Companies to form Executive Body as soon as possible and commence due functions same as other Foreign Chambers authorized by Japanese Govt. functioning here in Japan, BCCIJ will loose it’s prestige.
**For all of your kind reference , necessary preparations those were taken and advised through BCCIJ web site are as below,
-Members renewal date extended to June 5th,2012 (previously was May 20th,2012 )
-Final Voters List (Eligible cast Vote & participate in Executive Body Candidacy) hand over
to EC on June 7th,2012.
-“TOFSIL" declaration on 8th June,2012.
-Candidacy filing on 9th-10th June,2012 PM 1-5 (Candidacy application papers also
available during this time in the Hall ).
-Candidacy withdrawal by 12th June,2012.
-Candidates final List declare on 13th June,2012.
-Election on 28th June,2012 (Unchanged)
Coming meeting will be very important & all of your presence is requested.
