Profile:
From my youth I have enjoyed a life on the sea. I am now eager to prove myself in the marine industry and expand my experience in its employment market. I seek a permanent and long-term position that presents both challenge and responsibility, ideally as Deck/Stew on a sailing vessel, though the exclusive roles of Stewardess and Deckhands still remain strong considerations.

Temp Deck/Stew
I was employed on Solitaire’ as temporary crew to finish the med’ season. During my time on board I was tasked with all deck duties including extensive varnishing, wash downs and tender driving. During dockage and anchoring I was responsible for lines, fenders and calling distances. Interior detailing, laundry and some service was required, as well as crew cooking and provisioning during the final weeks of my post. The yacht cruised from Palma to the French and Italian Rivieras, often with owner and family onboard; followed by preparation for the yard period.

Sole Deckhand
I was responsible for all deck duties and maintenance, including wash downs, detailing and watch leading. During owner and guest trips I was tender driver and responsible for all toys and water based activities. For dockage and anchoring I was windless operator but also in charge of lines and fenders. I was happy to assist with any interior duties including laundry, detailing, beds’n’heads and service, when required, particularly during guest trips. Anemos spent the winter in the Caribbean, cruising extensively with owner and guests around, the Windward and Leeward Islands, before an Atlantic crossing, for which I was watch leader.

3rd Stewardess
As part of a 3 stew rotational team I was responsible for all aspects of interior work, from service, to housekeeping and detailing. Often the yacht would host parties of over 40 guests whilst the guest trips rarely saw less than 10 aboard. Fine dining service was expected whilst a professional yet friendly atmosphere was very important. I thrived during the busy trips and dealt with pressure and high expectations efficiently and with a positive attitude. Additionally, I was able to assist in the galley and on deck when required.
The vessels programme cruised from the Caribbean (St Maarten, Antigua, St Barts and the BVIs) up towards the Eastern seaboard of the US, from Florida to Newport and Nantucket. The yacht was travelling in support of its ‘sister-ship’ Ranger around many regatta events.

· Race crew on ‘Stella’- Falmouth working boat-, and other small racer-cruisers for the past 6 years.
Interests and hobbies
I have always had a keen interest in water sports, am a very confident swimmer, and especially enjoy tender driving for wakeboarding and waterskiing. Reading and running are also things that I like to do in my spare time.
