August Comp
August comp was held on week end of 17-19 August. Slightly better weather conditions seemed to encourage a few more members to hit the water with some nice fish presented. Graham Voysey headed out wide and presented a nice mixed bag of fish, including two marlin, which he tagged and released. Marlin are automatic 100 point fish under ANSA rules which resulted in a pretty good point score.

Top Ten Competition 2012
Entries continue to flow in which is pleasing to see. A couple of members have reached their ten fish with several others close so the competition is likely to be decided based on length so remember to send those upgrades in as well. Remember fish entered must comply with all legal length and ANSA minimum length restrictions as well as any closed seasons which may apply. It would also be helpful if you could identify the fish as well as sending photos. It is often difficult to identify particular species, eg cod, bream, grunter etc.
