Anti-bullying workshop for parents: Tuesday 21st May – 8 a.m – top of Y5/Y6 building
This is the latest in the series of parent workshops that we present throughout the school year. We shall share how we respond to issues of bullying and look at wider problems linked to bullying in schools.
This information will be presented in general terms. If you have any specific concerns relating to the well-being of your own child, please contact your child’s class teacher.
Traffic alert for all parents
PLEASE NOTE: some Thai Schools will resume on Tuesday 14th May and all Thai schools will be back in school on Thursday 16th May. Please allow extra time to get to school as traffic congestion will increase in the morning on Soi Lasalle as a result. If your Secondary age child has an exam on or after these dates please ensure you allow plenty of time to arrive at school (and extra time again if it is raining!).
Patana Primary Busking Day: Wednesday June 19th
Over the next few weeks the children will be receiving information about the purpose and organisation of the day.
If they are familiar with Busking Day already, they may want to start thinking about their act or performance.
In the meantime, we are asking everyone to start collecting 5 and 10 baht coins for donations on the day.
Calling All Tamil Speakers
Do you or your children speak Tamil? We would love to hear from you as we are hoping to have a coffee morning soon for Tamil speakers. For more details, please email your name and the names of your children to Mrs Jane Scott or contact Mrs Kanagaratnam, our Parent representative for the Tamil speaking community, at
Water bottles and hats
Students are encouraged to bring their own labelled water bottle into school and to refill when needed. Everyone needs to keep well hydrated as the weather continues to get hotter. It is also important that each child has a hat to wear every day while outside to protect themselves from the sun if they plan to play out on the fields.
Automatic bus cancellations and how to avoid problems
If your child does not board their morning bus for any reason, you must inform the Transport Office if you still plan for them to go home by bus. If any child is a no-show on the morning bus, their afternoon bus is automatically cancelled unless Transport is kept informed of your plans.
