Griffithstown, New Inn, Penygarn, Wainfelin, Pontymoile, Abersychan, Talywain Pontnewynydd, Pentwyn, Garndiffaith, Blaenavon, Cwmbran,Abergavenny, Gilwern, Raglan, Usk, Monmouth.

Play Rugby Football for the Pontypool Schools District Team.

Followed by Wednesday 5th September at 4.45 pm

Winners Paese Venice RFC under 12 tournament.

Season 2011/12

15 Gwent County Players

+ 10 East Wales Schools Players

Finalist D C Thomas Cup 2012, (Millenium Stadium).

Winners Paese Venice RFC under 12 tournament, second year in succession.

For the eighth year in succession 32 players, 9 officials,45 parents and supporters took part in the tour to PaeseVenice Italy in May 2012.

In May 2009the team returned victorious having won the Paese RFC tournament with Captain Owain Leonard being awarded the Player of the tournament consisting of 48 teams from three differentAge groups.

In May 2010 the team had to play in the under 12’s tournament winning4 from 5 games losing narrowly by 2 tries to 1 to the winners.

In May 2011 both teams had to play in the under 12 tournament the A team returned victorious having won the tournament.

In May 2012 both teams once again had to play in the under 12 tounament with the A team winning the tournament once again.

TOUR TO ITALY PLANNED MAY 2013

Represent the Pontypool and District Schools and gain you own Pooler Cap.
