This fact sheet is a general guide to the accessibility features of major work sites for HealthShare NSW and eHealth NSW.

The guide reflects the features of the worksites as they are now. It does not preclude the provision of reasonable adjustments which may include modifications to buildings or internal office arrangements.

Zenith Centre – 821 Pacific Highway Chatswood

  • Moderately hilly surrounding terrain
  • Cobblestone forecourt
  • Accessible entrance is signed –lift and then Australian Standards compliant ramp to doorway
  • Access door at top of ramp has an automatic door opener
  • Stair lift alongside steps inside atrium
  • Lift access from public car park in building basement

  • Visual cues and audio announcements at ground floor and when you arrive at each floor
  • Standard braille emergency call buttons are at a height and position that can be reached by all

Internal office access

  • Weighted hinge doors are difficult to open from a seated mobility position without assistance
  • Generally spacious pathways through the internal office space
  • Meeting rooms may require removal of chairs to accommodate wheelchair access
  • Some doorways are only 800mm wide

  • Accessible bathrooms are located on the ground floor and on basement levels 2 and 3.
  • Kitchen facilities lack accessible benches
  • Taps and hot water are difficult to access from a seated mobility position

Public transport

  • Chatswood Railway is a five minute walk (300m) away. The station is fully accessible.
  • There are taxi ranks adjacent to the building and opposite the railway station

  • Public car parking (early bird and casual) is available in the building
  • Two on-street disability car spaces – demand for these exceeds availability
  • Unlimited on street parking is up to 1km from the building

Octagon Building – 110 George Street Parramatta

  • Level surrounding terrain
  • Australian Standards compliant ramp on either side of the Octagon building (Phillip Street and George Street) that leads to the ground floor access

  • Free shuttle bus stop enroute to the Octagon Building from the railway station

  • Bus stops in both Pearson Street and Smart Street adjacent to the building
  • Accessible bus services are provided to Charlestown but commuters should check this when planning their trip

Car parking

  • Accessible visitors parking spots in the building carpark – access must be prearranged by contacting
  • Permanent parking may be able to be arranged through Colliers (Building Management) by the staff member
