Amy Edwards is the Director of Business Development and Marketing at QCi restoration; a local company serving the Chicagoland area in the property disaster restoration field. Her vast knowledge in this field coupled with her strong relationship building skills increases brand recognition throughout the Chicagoland market while directing her marketing team and increasing revenue. Throughout her career, Amy has brought many new facets of marketing to QCi such as social media, continuing education, advertising, and strategic alliances resulting in continued growth for the company on a yearly basis and an award winning web design. She is a leader in her field sitting on multiple industry committees and boards.
Her latest achievement was developing a Disaster Planning course that educates residents, facilities and property managers, commercial property owners and renters as well as other related professionals on the necessary action steps to take in preventing and planning for all types of emergencies and disasters. This course is taught in a multitude of media; classroom, workshops, webinars and interactive demonstrations.
Outside of her professional career at QCi, Amy also serves as a Village Trustee in the Village of Grayslake, IL. In her second term as a Trustee, Amy proactively endorses community involvement and strives to make her community the best it can be for those that live there. The recommendations that she has received represent the professionalism, dedication and commitment that she puts towards every effort of her position.
Amy exemplifies her outstanding character in many ways. From volunteering efforts such as packing meals for Haiti victims and Habitat for Humanity Projects, to being a “Big Sister” with The Big Brothers and Sisters program and countless others. Last of all, as the mother of two children, Amy has acted as an excellent role model. Managing a professional career while continuing involvement in her community, she has instilled great morals and values in her children to become strong, responsible and respectful adults.
