Eagan Hockey Booster Meeting 8/21/15

Bantam, PeeWee, 12U Try-outs:
Booster club supplies all of the try-out dinners. Donations for food. Booster Club supplies all paper products and napkins as well as coffee and jugs of water.
All of try-out dinner requests are out on Dibs thru the 29th of this month. Booster will manage all volunteer hours for the association.
Booster will go up each day and clean up each day during tryouts and restock. During dibs food should be delivered during time stamp on dibs.
Squirt Tryouts start last week of October: Need to staff check-in person for scrimmages, booster supplies 2 folks 1 per bench. If no one has signed up to bring dinner booster will organize.
Volunteer hours - Booster will go to team meetings and explain volunteer requirements. Each family will need to earn 2 points regardless of number of kids. See website for exemptions. Booster will collect a $100 check from each family, not be cashed as long as volunteer hours complete.
Squirt face-off is in November 15 or 22. Booster Club to supply food (hot dogs, chips, cookies, drinks) and make programs.
Outdoor Jamboree is in January
Amy will be adding a list on the website for the different events available so folks know what they can sign up for points.
Mite Kick-off Bowling event in December and Mite End of Season party. Will be open to Squirt and 10U.
Pancake Breakfast in November for Bantam, Peewee, Squirts, 12U and 10U and December for Mites
Coaches Jackets – Historically booster has purchased coaches jackets for Junior Gold, Bantam, PeeWee, 15U, 10U, 12U, Squirt. Booster will coordinate the ordering and distribution. 4 coaches per team.
Team pictures will also be coordinated thru booster, Amy will work with Sports Star. Most will be in Nov. Mites in Dec.
Financial: fiscal year end 31st. $5K approved from EHA, Cheryl will create a budget based on current needs.Yearend balance $5200.
Shooter Shirts will go out for ordering within the next few weeks. Shorts possibly as well.
Open House will be in October. Hot dogs, buns, condiments
Next summer Golf with the Cats Youth Tournament and Summer Meltdown tournament will be things you can volunteer for over the summer
Skate with the Cats for Mites and Squirts will be sometime in Nov/Dec – Booster will supply hotdogs and Wild Cat will be there
Hockey Mom’s Night Out – will talk about at next meeting
Booster Meetings schedule will be the 7pm Mondays opposite board meetings. Next meeting will be October 12th.
