The following are jobs available in support of the auction which takes place on Saturday, April 27th. All positions are first-come, first-served. If you are willing to assist with two areas, please select both options. You will be contacted 2-4 weeks prior to the event regarding your position and additional detailed information. Thank you! PRE-EVENT SET-UP –9am – 4pm, a 4-hour commitment within these times is requested

Assist with ballroom decor, arrange silent auction items, place signage and display.

DATA ENTRY and CASHIERING–5pm – midnight

Data entry volunteers will enter winning bidder information into computers and print receipts for guests as they begin the process of checking-out. Cashiering volunteers will assist guests in processing cash, check and credit card payments.

REGISTRATION – 4pm – 7:30pm

Greet guests as the check in, provide registration packets, inform guests of any event changes.

SILENT AUCTION –5:00pm – 8:30pm

Monitor and assist with closing of silent auction, determine winning bids, deliver bid sheets tobanking, transfer items to check out, and breakdown area. May assist with raffle sales if needed.

BALLROOM GUEST HOST–6:00pm – 10pm

You will be assigned a block of tables in the ballroom to ensure that guests have everything they need, pass out bid #’s,collect centerpiece bid forms and handle any other guest needs throughout the night. Outgoing personality and high energy required.

AUCTION ITEM CHECK OUT – 6:30pm – midnight

Immediately following the Silent Auction closings, volunteers will double check to ensure all items have been placed in their designated spot. Volunteers will then set up the “Check Out” room according to floor plan. As guests check-out, volunteers will retrieve auction items and distribute to winning bidders checking their statements for accuracy.

LIVE AUCTION RUNNER– 7pm – 10pm

Runners will be stationed at a table near the stage. As items are sold, runners will take invoices from recorders, quickly walk to winning bidder for signature and return bid sheets. May assist to deliver gifts to winning bidders.

LIVE AUCTION RECORDER – 7pm – 10pm

Recorders sit at a table near the stage and officially record all bids during live auction.

DRAWING SALES –5:30pm – 7:30pm

Responsible for selling drawing tickets to guests during Silent and Live auctions. Outgoing personality and high energy required.
