Bid Spec
1.0 Description
The digital recorder described shall be a Sanyo Model number DSR-3009 or equivalent. The recorder shall be an industrial grade 9-channel digital security video recorder with 80/ 160/ 240/ or 320 GB internal hard drive capacity.
2.0 Bid Specification
The digital recorder shall be a 9 channel, 80/ 160/ 240/ or 320 GBhard disk digital recorder with expansion capability via RJ45 digital connection for a total of 2 Sanyo DSR-3000 recorders. The digital recorder shall have the capability to record in 27 recording speeds ranging from 60 fields per second down to .03 fields per second with digital duplex simultaneous recording and playback up to 60 fields per second. The digital recorder shall use field recording. The digital recorder shall have 4 different recording modes – 1. Normal recording 2. Alarm recording 3. Pre-alarm recording 4. Timer recording. The digital recorder shall have user-selectable allocations determined by percentages given to three recording areas, 1. Normal recording area 2. Alarm recording area 3. Archive recording area. The digital recorder shall have the ability to record in 5 picture quality modes (Basic, Normal, Enhanced, Fine, Super Fine) with the top picture quality mode (Super Fine) representing 720 x 240 (field) digital picture resolution.
The recorder shall have 9 Video Input terminals (BNC x 9), 9 video loop out connectors (BNC x 9), 1 SVHS + 1 BNC connection for main monitor output, and 1 BNC connector for monitor 2 output.
The digital recorder shall have a Jog / Shuttle control and one touch operation for Play, Stop, Record, and Still. The digital recorder shall have high-speed digital fast-forward and review. Audio recording capability shall be available at 10 fields per second or faster recording speeds.
The digital recorder shall have a built-in CompactFlash slot to copy recorded images to CompactFlash or Microdrive for immediate removable media.
The digital recorder shall have a PCMCIA TypeII card slot for SCSI or LAN card. Data backup is available using a DAT or External CD-R drive with PCMCIA SCSI card.
The digital recorder shall offer the following search modes:

- Archive area search
- Motion detection search
The digital recorder shall have built-in motion detection (9 channel). The digital recorder shall have RS-485 and RS-232 communications.
No client software shall be required (MS Internet Explorer 5.0 or later) for Live play back & viewing of video via LAN/WAN/ Internet connection. The digital recorder shall support simultaneous multi-user remote access LAN/WAN/ Internet connection (up to 4 users simultaneous, 3 ID1 and 1 ID2 or ID3 level user).
The digital recorder shall be no larger than 420 X 86 X 364.5mm (W x H x D) and weigh approximately 13.7 lbs.
The digital recorder shall be UL listed and ISO9001 certified.
