CALL TO ORDER

The meeting was called to order by Arthur G. Baggett, Jr., Chair, October 28, 2002, at 11:06 a.m., in the Sierra Hearing Room, 1001 I Street, Sacramento, California.

WATER RIGHTS

Consideration of a Proposed Order Regarding the Amended Joint Petition of the Imperial Irrigation District’s (IID) and San Diego County Water Authority’s (SDCWA) Amended Joint Petition for Approval of a Long-Term Transfer of Conserved Water Pursuant to an Agreement Between IID and SDCWA and Petition of the from IID to SDCWA and to Change the Point of Diversion, Place of Use, and Purpose and Place of Use and the Point of Diversion Under Permit 7643.

Andy Fecko, Division of Water Rights, presented the item noting an errata sheet containing five staff-recommended changes to the proposed order.

T. Virsik, R. Rothman, K. Douglas, T. Rossmann and M. Hattam addressed the Board. Dana Differding, Office of Chief Counsel, responded to concerns expressed regarding an air quality provision.

Motion: The Board unanimously adopted the proposed order including the five revisions contained in the errata sheet. Water Rights Order 2002-0013

The Board announced that 5:00 p.m., November 27, 2002 would be the deadline for submitting petitions for reconsideration and that the Board would hold a Board meeting to consider any petitions on December 30, 2002.
