The Inheritance Tax (Delivery of Accounts) (Excepted Estates) Regulations 2004 will introduce some major changes to Probate procedures on 1st November.

We have amended the forms of oath and Probate Estates Provisions sheet to take account of these amendments but practitioners should be aware that we have removed forms PRO5B, PRO8C, PRO11A, PRO11B, PRO15 and PROPEP2003 from therange. These forms should not be used after 1st November. Please see deletion instructions overleaf.

Since we understand that the Inland Revenue’s forms IHT205 and IHT207 must accompany applications to the Probate Registry, customers are advised that these two forms are available as part of our Inland Revenue/Inheritance Tax range of forms. For further information please contact Sales on Tel. 020 7556 3200.

Minor amendments have been made to PRO2B and PRO36C which are enclosed on this update but are not connected to November's changes.

We have also made minor field amendments to forms CON41A and PRO33 which are also enclosed for your immediate use.

Practitioners are also advised to remove forms PRO20, PRO22, PRO23, PRO25, PRO26A and PRO32A as Oyezwill no longer be supporting them due to insufficient demand (See overleaf).
