Experience has shown that students who do not attend class do poorly. Therefore, daily attendance is a vital component in successfully completing the Major Instructional Goals. If a student is absent, it is his/her responsibility to find out what work was missed.

Students who miss class must be responsible for doing following:

  • Get the name, phone number, FB or twitter of (2) classmates whom you can contact in case you will miss a class.
  • Be prepared for the next class meeting by studying for scheduled tests and completing any assigned work. (Absence is not an excuse).
  • Pick up missed assignments from the teacher and have them completed and handed in at or before beginning of the next class. (Absence is not an excuse).
  • Copy notes or vocabulary from a reliable classmate.
