1) Approval of agenda
The agenda was approved with the following additions:
· ebIX Budget, see item 3
· UN/CEFACT/TMG/CCMA, see item 5
2) Minutes from previous meetings
Approved.
3) Preparations for next ebIX Forum meeting, October 13th.
The ETC Presentation for the ebIX Forum was reviewed and slightly restructured.
The ebIX budget was discussed, with a special focus on the ebIX mission overview from Hugo.
During the discussions the following proposals for efficiency came up:
· Move all detailed modelling work from EMD/CuS to ETC to avoid double work.
· Try getting additional money from other bodies, such as Eurelectric.
· Implement the UN/CEFACT methodology directly and leaving as much as possible from the special ebIX version of it. This may be possible soon since the UN/CEFACT methodology and architecture is getting more and ore mature.
Main ebIX activities for the next years:
· Joint ebIX/CuS and Eurelectric project related to structuring.
· Joint ebIX/EMD/EMVR, ETSO, EFET and UCTE project related to metering .
· ebIX methodology/architecture.
· Marketing/PR.
The ebIX mission overview from Hugo was reviewed and restructured. Hugo will present it at the ebIX Forum meeting together with a budget proposal from ETC.
4) Status Energy Metered Data Report (EMDR) project
The first “real” meeting was held week 40. Among others some class diagrams were made, the role model was discussed and new roles agreed. Vlatka will contact UCTE to discuss their requirements.
5) ebIX architecture
The current proposal (document) from the CCMA project was discussed on the latest UN/CEFACT Forum meeting and it looks like the document will be redone.
A note from Kees to the UN/CEFACT/TMG/CCMA (Core Component Message Assembly) project was reviewed together with some new remarks/comments from the CCMA project group after the latest UN/CEFCAT Forum meeting. ETC will follow this discussion.
Under this item Hugo presented a MagicDraw model, which consistently shows the link between the syntax independent class diagrams and EDIFACT messages, and related segment groups, segments, elements, codes etc.
6) ebIX CC registry
See item 11.
7) Update of the ebIX Domain model
Due to lack of time the item was postponed.
8) Mapping of Class diagrams from EMD and CuS to EDIFACT and XML?

11) BRS (Business Requirements Specification) for a subset of one of the ebIX models to UN/CEFACT
The second day of the meeting was reserved for making a BRS and related CCs.
ETC started with a review and update of the ABIES in the current ebIX CC registry and to map these according to Hugo’s presentation from the day before, see item 5. Hugo will complete the model and distribute.
