Job Title: Alumni Liaison Officer

Job Type:Part-Time Permanent Contract

Responsible to:Project and Communications Team Manager

Overall purpose of role:

  • To facilitate the successful transition of LFE’s former Apprentices (Alumni) into positive destinations in line with LFE’s operational targets and Club’s Elite Player Performance Plan requirements

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • To manage LFE’s Exit Survey process and produce the corresponding report
  • To manage LFE’s Tracking and Monitoring programme and produce the corresponding reports
  • To support LFE’s Player Placement Programme
  • To manage and maintain the Opportunities Board
  • To develop and maintain all relevant Progression Partnerships
  • Identify and communicate potential progression support opportunities to inform targeted campaigns with Progression Partners
  • To ensure that all elite athlete information is both up to date and accurate on CRM system
  • Develop and implement an effective contact strategy to constantly update elite athlete information within the CRM system in conjunction with PCT & CRM Officer
  • To identify areas of required support and drive progression opportunities with each individual elite athlete
  • Highlight relevant “Good News” stories and potential “Case Studies” to be created and communicated externally via the Communications & PR Manager.
  • Identify and communicate information about elite athletes that could be used as content in various LFE communications
  • Participate in the Exit and Progression Working Group
  • Support key projects and events as required within the Projects and Communications Team (PCT) including The Assessment Trials and Create Your Legacy events

Other Requirements

  • Contribute as appropriate to the business planning process, operational & development plans, the QIG, SAR, QIP and other strategic and operational issues

Undertake other occasional duties as reasonably requested

  • Support and promote the LFE commitment to Safeguarding, Equality & Diversity and Health & Safety. Comply with and support LFE policies and procedures and undergo all relevant training in these key areas
  • Fully engage with the LFE appraisal process ensuring that:
  • Training and development objectives are identified and ensuring best endeavours are made to achieve them
  • Job performance targets are identified and best endeavours are made to achieve them
