For your child’s protection, no student will be allowed to leave campus without being checked out by his/her parent or guardian in the school office. When checking your child out of school before the regular dismissal time, go to the office and your child will be called out of class. Please do not go directly to the classroom.

Students must bring their own snacks and lunch.

Due to food allergies, students are not allowed to share.

Health and Safety

BELONGINGS: Please do not allow your students to bring valuable items to school.

HEALTH INFORMATION: Students who become ill in class will be sent to the office and parents will be called to pick them up.

An emergency form must be on file for every student so that we may contact parents or guardians in case of an accident or illness and that we may be advised of special medical problems.

PARENT VISITS: Parents are welcome at Summer School anytime. If you do wish to observe a learning activity, please call and set up an appointment with the teacher.

Parents must always check in at the office when visiting. The office must be aware of all adults on the campus to insure the safety of the children.

CIVIL DEFENSE EMERGENCY PROCEDURES:

Students and staff drill on fire and earthquake procedures. These procedures include:

  • Method of exiting buildings in case of emergency
  • What to do in case of earthquake or fire
  • Assigned duties for all staff members
  • Location of emergency equipment
