Master of Art Teaching- Elementary Education

Program Requirements

*Application for Admission ( please apply at any time, even with all or significant amounts of pre-requisite coursework left).

*Completion of pre-requisite coursework, listed below, or an approved graduation plan of completion. Must have a grade of “C” or better in all transfer work.

*Official Transcripts. Greenville College will need official transcripts from all colleges to which course work completed.

*Bachelor Degree from accredited College.

*ACT Plus Writing Score of 22 with at least a 16 on the combined English/Writing section if ACT exam taken Sept. 1, 2015 or later. ACT exam taken prior to Sept. 1, 2015 will still need to have the combined English/Writing score of 19 and composite of 22 to be considered passing, or 4 sections of IL’s TAP Test passed(Greenville will consider a 20 or 21 on the ACT, or 2 of 4 sections on the TAP passed, for a provisional admission). The following tests are valid indefinitely- ACT & SAT (in lieu of TAP)

*An approved background check. This will be required for Greenville College education classes. You will be notified by the instructor of these courses or an admissions counselor on how to achieve this background check upon your registration.
