Meeting called to order – 1410 hours
The annual meeting of the CDF Firefighters Benevolent Foundation Class A and B Members will be held at this year’s Cal Fire Local 2881 Convention site at the Sheraton Grand Hotel located in Sacramento, CA, on Wednesday,January 18, 2017, at 2:00 PM (1400 hours).

- Results – Chuck Carroll wins by acclamation
- Election of Class B Directors(s) (CAL FIRE L2881 Executive Board, three (3) Director positions, three (3) year terms staggered)
- Announcement of Class B Director – one (1) Director Position , three (3) year term - Jim Crawford nominated and won unanimously by the executive board at the December board
- Election of Public Director(s) (Class A & B Members, three (3) positions, two (2) year terms, two (2) positions will be elected in even years and one (1) position will be elected in odd years).
- Nominations for one (1) position (odd year), two (2) year term (no nominations)

- CDFF Benevolent Golf Tournament– Kevin O’Meara spoke at last years golf tournament. Next golf tournament Oct 12.
- NOLB – recently trademarked Logo. For 2017, funds will be split 70% - foundation and 30% NOLB
- Other fundraising– Kevin discussed some roadblocks because we’re experiencing because were doing more events.

- Election of Foundation Officers for 2017 (Directors board will appoint the foundation officers per Article IV of the foundation bylaws for the 2017 year.

Motion by Steve Hartman to leave officers in place, 2nd by Michelle Cannady, passed unanimously.

Webmaster – having problems with commitment. It was free, but now looking at options to a new server and new webmaster

- Conflict of Interest Statements provided to 2017 Foundation Officers present
Open Discussion–Jake Duran requested a list of money donated to outside organizations and other locals. Donated to Ft. McMurray in Canada to firefighters who lost their home.
