During Refugee Week 2017, BEACON will be hosting our annual sponsored Walk for Justice on Wednesday 21st June. The walk begins at 9.30am in Centenary Square, in Bradford, and ends at the Home Office Waterside Reporting Centre, in Leeds, a destination familiar to many asylum seekers from Bradford who are required to report there on a regular basis.
By taking part in this sponsored walk, which is approximately 10 miles, we are seeking to highlight the injustices in the asylum system and to raise money for BEACON’s work with asylum seekers and refugees in the Bradford area. Your support is greatly appreciated.
