ROLE PURPOSE
To ensure the safe and efficient receival and dispatch of goods from the store warehouse.
KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Procedures
§ Record deliveries on incoming stock movement sheets accurately
§ Check delivery documents against purchase orders before accepting any goods
§ Record outgoing stock on relevant sheets and file records
§ Process warehouse and supplier claims ensuring that the faulty products are promptly returned to their supplier
§ Verify that customers have paid in full for goods before dispatching
§ Accurately complete receivables in the computer system
§ OTB (Out the Back) allocate the stock to customers orders as it arrives ( 48 hours )
§ Contract customer to advise that there product has arrived and is ready for collect.
Shifting Stock
§ Load and unload trucks as directed
§ Inspect goods at point of receipt to ensure goods comply with Freedom's quality standards
§ Assist with unpacking and barcoding goods when necessary
§ Transport goods to delegated storage area ensuring damage is minimised
§ Assist with stock movements on sales floor for catalogue changeover, special events and promotions
§ Fill bulk stack displays and bins on the selling floor
Customer Service
§ Assist customers to load goods being collected
§ Ensure all dealings with customers are conducted in accordance with Freedom's standards especially regarding courtesy and professionalism
Other
§ Execute deliveries adhering to Freedom procedures at all times
§ Assist with customer swap-overs and repairs
§ Keep the warehouse and loading area clean and tidy
§ Effectively use the computer system
§ Maintain personal presentation and hygiene to Freedom standards
§ Conduct cyclical counts and company stocktakes accurately and as required
§ Assist with the assembly of new catalogue stock
§ Perform ad hoc duties and support other departments when required
Human Resources
§ Ensure compliance with MySafety and ensure high standards of safety are maintained
§ Take ownership of your learning and development needs, including ensuring completion of all e-learning modules.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Observe and adopt the company brand values
§ Ensure the timely completion of all company directed learning and development initiatives
§ Follow all safety instructions and comply with the Work Health & Safety system; ValueSafe and any return to work programs
§ Report all hazards to your supervisor immediately and incidents to your supervisor within 24 hours
§ Not interfere with or misuse things provided for the health, safety or welfare reasons.
