NYHA STUDENT COACH PROGRAM
It is a goal of the Navy Youth Hockey Association (NYHA) to simultaneously encourage young adults to participate in coaching activities within our youth hockey program and also demonstrate a commitment to supporting an ethic of community service. As such, NYHA has an established Student Coach Program.
Any individual between the ages of 13 and 17 who is currently properly registered with USA Hockey and who wishes to participate in the NYHA Student Coach Program may do so under the conditions set forth below.

In addition to detailing how the Student Coach will be utilized, the Plan shall provide for a minimum of a mid-season and end-of-season review between Student Coach and Head Coach. A sample Plan can be found in the “Documents” Section of the NYHA website.
