Christmas Tree Sale
THE CHRISTMAS SEASON IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER, and our annual Christmas Tree Sale starts at noon on Friday, November 25th, Matt Diederich, Mike Hannon, Matt & JohnMueller, Bryan Rottier, John Hofbauer, Jesse Zastrow and Pat Lennon will be co-chairing the event. We will be selling trees from the same location as last year in the parking lot of Bank Mutual at the corner of 8th & Main Ave. in W De Pere. Our sign has been up since October 29th. At 8 AM on Saturday, November12th we will be unloading trees at the same location as in years past and bringing the stanchions from storage. The following Saturday, November 19th, at 8 AM we will be setting up the tree lot, opening and pricing trees. At 9 AM Friday, November 25th, we will bring the trees to the selling lot and begin the sale. From past experience, we know it will take 150+ Council members to make this project a success. Please consider saying yes when asked for your assistance. For those who are unable to help, please pray that the sale will be successful as close to 40% of our charity funds come from this sale. And most importantly come and buy a tree from us and tell your friends to do the same as all the profits go to help those in need. PLEASE SEE THE ENCLOSED FLYER.
22 men, women and children met October 1st on Oneida Street to pray for an end to abortion. We prayed the rosary over and over as we walked the sidewalk between Panera Bread and Red Robin as this is close to the near-by Planned Parenthood office. Included in Planned Parenthoods services are referrals of women to one of the three remaining abortuaries in Wisconsin. It appears to many of us that we are in a great moral battle for the hearts, minds and souls of the people of this country. Let us continue to pray. Thanks to Norm & Mary Koelbl, John & Carol Mueller, Pete, Kathy & Camden Nordeen, Gene Micke, Jim, Logan and Makayla Micke, Dar Smet, Lou Cyganek, Tom Franzen, Richard Porior, Dan Nehls, Frank DeBruin, Bill Janssen, Ryan, Leah, Micah and Miranda Jaecks.
