MIX 101.5 RAISES MONEY FOR DUKE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL
Radio Station Hosts its 16th Annual Radiothon at Duke Children’s Hospital

Raleigh, NC – MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM’s 16th annual Radiothon for Duke Children’s Hospital starts Tuesday, February 9thand will run through Thursday, February 11th. MIX morning show hosts, Bill Jordan and Lynda Loveland, will kick off the annual fund raising event live from Duke.

MIX is offering several ways to contribute during the 2010 Radiothon. Listeners can pledge online at wralfm.com or by phone - toll free at 1-866-684-1015, or locally at (919) 684-1015. Volunteers are answering phones and taking pledges from 6am until 9pm. The phone bank will open at 6am on February 9th and will close at 6pm on February 11th. Checks, credit cards and electronic funds transfers are accepted.

WRAL-FM listeners can also donate in a different way byparticipating in Duke’s Coins for Kidsby dropping off their change in the Duke Children’s Hospital lobby.

Funds raised through Radiothon support research into the causes and possible cures for devastating childhood illnesses. These funds also provide patient support materials such as toys for the playroom and parent education materials.

A check in the amount of total funds raised will be presented live in the final hour of the Radiothon broadcast.Over the past 15 years, MIX 101.5 has raised over $10.7 million dollars for the kids at Duke Children's Hospital.
