We act in a trust-worthy way when we create an environment that enhances the delivery of TRUST-worthy results – when we are truthful, respectful, reliable, confident and completely professional in our service to one another, to the Trust and to each of our members.
We are “on” our mission when, as individuals and work teams, we accept personal responsibility for seeing that our actions are in-sync with, and contribute to, the mission. Our success is measured ultimately by the actions of our members through their continued support and participation, and their improved risk management performance.
We can focus energy around our mission by occasionally pausing to ask ourselves:
“Is each member in CIS receiving the risk management products and services most appropriate to their needs? If no, what can I do to make that happen?”
“Is what I am working on a Trust-worthy activity? In what ways is it helping CIS deliver TRUST-worthy results to our members?”
“Are my actions at work adding to, or detracting from, the level of trust others might have in me, my work team, and in CIS?”
