SEMESTER 1, 2015-16

(THIRD YEAR STUDENTS)

  1. Academic Requirements

All third year students are subjected to PI (third year CORE course) in semester 2. This course is worth 16 AUs. In addition, it’s highly recommended that third year students take 2 PEs (one of it is a CORE PE) and 2 GER-PEs and 1 UE.

Students who have declared their track specialization will have their CORE-PEs pre-registered for them. Students who have declared inter-disciplinary track will not have a CORE-PE pre-registered for them as these students can take any PEs from any track.

Registration and Add/Drop Periods

The Registration schedule for Yr 3:

CORE/PE/GER-PE: Monday, 22 June 2015 (1.30- 4.30 pm)

UE: 30 June (1.30 -4.30 pm)

The Registration Study Year is your study year in S1 AY2015-16 and which is determined by the following:

Add/Drop period: Tuesday, 11 August – Sunday, 23 August

The normal load for Semester 1 is 15-16 AUs. Students can choose to take unrestricted electives provided that they have not exceeded the maximum of 19 -20 AUs. Registration of additional subjects (beyond 20 AUs) can be done during the Add/Drop period, subject to vacancies available, and with the School’s approval.

Advisors

It is the responsibility of the students to follow the registration procedure and to complete the required AUs from year to year. Students are encouraged to write to for course related enquiries. Please make your enquiries come in early so that you give the Advisors sufficient time to answer the questions.

Any changes to the registration schedule will be notified via the School’s website and if necessary, through students’ NTU email account.
