In the Night Garden is a magical place that exists between waking and sleeping. This modern take on a nursery rhyme picture book follows the adventures of Upsy Daisy and Igglepiggle as they explore a garden landscape before drifting off to sleep!

News Release:

Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka prepare for the adventure of a lifetime when they arrive in the U.S. following their hugely successful UK run on the BBC. A live-action, modern interpretation of the classic nursery rhyme picture book, “In the Night Garden” has been translated into 19 languages and is popular with young audiences worldwide.

Main Characters:

Upsy Daisy - Upsy Daisy is a happy dolly. Confident and demonstrative, she loves nothing more than dancing throughout the garden, her tummy chime tinkling as she goes.

Igglepiggle - Igglepiggle is a physical and energetic – a well-loved teddy that is always jumping and bouncing. He is curious and adventurous, but also vulnerable and modest.

Makka Pakka - Makka Pakka is a pat-a-cake toy who lives in a little cave at the edge of the garden. He likes nothing more than collecting and washing little stones.

The Tombilboos - The Tombliboos are tumbly, knockabout pepper-pot toys. There are three Tombliboos – Unn, Ooo and Eee.

The Haahoos - The Haahoos are five enormous pillowy creatures, who roam about the garden at a leisurely pace.

The Pontipines - The Pontipines are a large family of peg-doll characters that live in a semi-detached house at the foot of a tree.
