OVERALL ROLE PURPOSE

The Sales Manager Benelux role at Intros is focused on providing our clients with outstanding service. Accountable to the Sales Director for maximizing account retention and driving account growth. This person will create new relationships and find new business as well as account manage and expand their existing customer base. The Sales Manager interfaces with many different teams within Intros to ensure the highest possible client satisfaction and to maximize our clients potential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  1. Manage the development of profitable revenue growth with:
  2. Existing individual small & medium accounts
  3. Existing regional chains
  4. New individual top accounts
  5. New clients
  6. Executethe (sales) business planfor growth of new business in the Benelux.
  7. Execute major LHC opportunities.
  8. Looking after compliance existing chain clients; Starwood, Hilton, Marriott, Swissotel in Benelux with either field visit or phone/email.
  9. Responsible for acquiring, retaining and developing accounts from within your respective territory
  10. Achieve agreed sales targets and objectives
  11. Research new target areas of business and conduct sales calls to prospective customers
  12. Generate sales leads through own resourcefulness
  13. Ensure a high level of customer service to clients
  14. Work towards agreed goals and objectives
  15. Attend and follow-up on all sales leads
  16. Maintain a detailed level of record keeping in our client CRM
  17. Regular contact with key internal personnel to insure effective and communication and awareness of accounts
  18. Providing an accurate weekly Sales activity report and relevant information required by the company

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

-Strong business analysis and customer relationship management skills

-Commercial and Financial skills

-Travel every week throughout Benelux

-Strong communication skills both verbal and written

-Goal getter and self-motivated

-Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

-Fluency in written and spoken English, 2nd or 3rd language a benefit

-Sense of urgency, with the drive to get things done

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

-Bachelors Degree with a concentration in Sales or Experienced Sales professional, ideally from the hotel industry

-A minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in a sales management role within the international hospitality industry.

-Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Exact

-Certified training in sales assignments and marketing projects.

-Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.

-Proficient organizational skills with the ability to effectively work on multiple projects

-An entrepreneurial approach to the role.
