HEALTH, SAFETY & WELFARE: The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey instructions of the organisers, all officials and stewards and this includes instructions as to parking.

LEGAL LIABILITY: No claim can be entertained by the Organisers or Herriard Park for any injury, loss or damage caused to, or suffered by any horse, pony, competitor, onlooker, attendant or other person or vehicle, or any other property in connection with, or arising from, this event, whether or not said injury, loss or damage is caused by negligence of the Organisers, their servants or agents.

EVENT RULES

1.  It is a condition of entry that all rules will be accepted.

2.  EACH HORSE/PONY MAY ENTER ONLY 3 SHOWJUMPING CLASSES (excluding class 4)

3.  EACH HORSE/PONY MAY ONLY JUMP ONCE IN ANY CLASS.

4.  Horses/ponies may only compete in rings 1 or 2 except classes 4 and 6.

5.  Scoring in the Show Jumping will be judged according to Pony Club 2015 rules. Full details of which can be found on the Pony Club website www.pcuk.org.

6.  Entries accepted on the day, space permitting. Late entries £2.00 extra per class in rings 1-3.

7.  PC standard approved hats must be worn when mounted. To be checked when collecting numbers. Pony Club dress rules apply. No jewellery or piercings to be worn.

8.  Horses/ponies must not be exercised near horseboxes. Please park where instructed by the stewards.

9.  All lead reins must be attached to either the noseband or headcollar.

10.  Competitors must keep aware of ring progress to avoid conflicting/missing classes. Every effort will be made to accommodate clashes of classes.

11.  No refunds after the closing date without a vet or doctor’s certificate.
