Consultant (1998 – 1999)

Developed a comprehensive medical archiving system. The system consists of distributed computer files linking individual and family medical data. Systems installed in physician offices are connected through secure networks and a unique software management system. Images, laboratory results and reports can be transferred electronically ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.

Assistant Professor / Director of Radiological Engineering (1995 – 1998)

Managed projects involving the installation and acceptance testing of computer imaging systems. Specified and directed the installation of Computed Radiography /PACS systems for the hospital’s intensive care units. Managed the hospitals x-ray services department and was responsible for the technical performance of computer imaging equipment. Ensured compliance of x-ray equipment with FDA and State regulations. Taught computer science, ultrasound physics and a radiology resident physics review course.

MEMORIAL / SLOAN-KETTERING CANCER CENTER – New York, New York

Senior Physicist (1968 – 1974)

Developed techniques and standards for one of the first 2 Regional X-ray Calibration Laboratories that calibrate x-ray

dosimeters in conjunction with the National Bureau of Standards. Designed and built electrometers and ion chambers

for the calibration of Linear Accelerators, Betatrons and Co-60 radiation therapy equipment.
