BACKGROUND NOTE

The following documentation will be compressed in a PDF document and forwarded to :

a)Application formfilled in with the contact data of researcher and the project identification data.

b)Scanned copy of the National Identification Card or Passport (in case of researchers from abroad)

c)Copy of the Doctorate Award accreditation document

d)AbbreviatedCurriculum vitae in standardized format

f)Notification of overcoming the first phase of the call for ERC grants and evaluation summary report.

g)Full proposal presented to the referred ERC call for grants

h)A letter of acceptance of the hosting department or research institute of the UC accepting the candidate.

i)Project resume in no more than 10 pages. It should include a project abstract in approx. 300 words and the proposed budget of the action, indicating the distribution of costs categories as shown in Article 5.5. The project must be in relation with the proposal sent to ERC Calls referred in Article 4.3.

DATA PROTECTION TERMS. -Data registered in this form and the information produced in the event of receiving the award as a result of the relation between this University and the researcher in the frame of the realization of research activities or participation in research groups or projects, will be incorporated to the internal database of “Personnel and Salaries” and “Research”. This is aimed at the management of administrative issues in relation with the grant, including financial reporting and data transfers required for development of management activities, both referred to public and private organisations.

Likewise, all the collected information will be used in order to update the information on scientific activity of research groups of the University of Cantabria, as well as to disseminate research activity carried out by the Institution. The University of Cantabria would make use of above information, by publishing it on different dissemination channels (web, brochures, etc.).

II. Access rights, rectification and cancellation may be exercised by written request supported by a copy of the National Identification Number document or other valid identity document, addressed to the main responsible of the archive, Financial Manager of the University of Cantabria, Pabellón de Gobierno, Avda. de los Castros s/n, 39005 Santander, though its General Register or by mail. Such a request must indicate the petitioner´s address and identifying data, the aim of the request as well as the supporting documents required, according to the case, date and signature.
