The Planning Center has immediate openings in its Tucson, AZ office. If you enjoy working in an exciting, fast-paced environment, we would like to talk to you. We are looking for experienced, well groomed, professionals to work in our energetic, ever-changing, planning and urban design office.

Knowledge and Abilities:

The successful candidate(s) will have proven capabilities in the following areas of expertise: environmental and sustainable planning, master planning, urban and site design, site and feasibility analysis, public and private planning, public participation, long-range and current planning, GIS mapping and analysis and economic feasibility analysis.

Qualities:

The position(s) require(s) excellent customer service and client relations abilities, working well under deadlines, creativity, multi-tasking, supervision of other staff, self-motivation, team orientation and independent work, excellent writing skills, and the ability to bring new work into the office. A firm understanding of how policy and physical planning (including site and urban design) affect the built and natural environments is critical. The successful candidate must be able to:

Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher in appropriate planning or design related field. At least 3-5 years of experience. Experience with conceptual hand graphics as well as the following programs are a plus: Arc GIS software, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, 3D Max, and other planning/design related programs.
