FAIRMONT GIRLS BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION

4th, 7th & 8th Grade February 16th-5th & 6th Grade February 17th
Entry Fee: 4th grade $75 or $60 if register by December 31st 2018
Entry Fee: 5-8th grade $150 or $125 if register by December 31st 2018
Entry on a first come, first served basis. All teams are guaranteed three games.
Deadline for entering tournament is February 8, 2019.
Gymnasium:
Games will be held at Fairmont Elementary School,714 Victoria Streeton wood floors, we use only experienced referees.
Uniforms:
Teams must wear a team uniform with numbers or a pull over with numbers.
- A player can participate on only one team. Players may not be older than team grade indicated, but may be younger.
- Rosters needed with names and numbers.
GAME LENGTH AND RULES
- 2 - 10 Minute Halves (4th) 2 - 12 Minute Halves (5th & 6th) 2 - 14 Minute Halves (7th & 8th)
- Clock will stop for violations and free throws
- All shooting fouls will be shot
- Five fouls limit per player
- Two full time-outs per half no carry over.
- Overtimes will be two minutes long. Second overtime will be sudden death.
- Substitutes will be beckoned in by the officials
- No Zone defense will be allowed (4th5th) All defenses for 6th,7th & 8th
- Press defense will be allowed (5th) the last 2 minutes of each half unless ahead by 20 points
- All other Minnesota State High School League rules will apply.
