Geocaching Camp Camp 1 – June 20-24

Students will learn about and participate in the world wide outdoor activity called Geocaching. We will head out daily in an attempt to track down caches and by the end of the week the students will have the opportunity to place their own cache. The students will receive a travel bug for their participation in the camp.

Ukulele Camp Camp 1 – June 20-24

Campers will put together and decorate their own ukulele, as well as learn to play some basics and perform what they have learned at the end of the week. The camp will culminate with a ukulele concert by “Phredd” from WJTL.

Lego WeDo Robotics 2.0 Camp 1: June 20-24

Mary Stauffer Camp 2: June 27-July 1

This camp will be using an all new WeDo program which teaches kids simple drop and drag programming while focusing on STEM basics.

NXT Robotics Camp 1: June 20-24

Students will be working with NXT Mindstorms to design, build and program autonomous robots to solve a number of challenges.

Creative Kids Art Camp June 27-July 1

Entering Grades 4-6

$130 per child

Featuring age and skill level appropriate activities, this camp will explore a variety of art media, with an emphasis on various print making techniques. Campers will make and use natural dyes, do a weaving project, simple origami, and much more. These are all new projects from last year, with just as much variety and fun.

Artsy Adventures July 11-15

Bonnie Lucas 9 a.m. to noon

Entering Grades 1-3

$115 per child

Featuring age and skill level appropriate activities, this camp will explore a variety of art media, with an emphasis on various print making techniques. Campers will make and use natural paints, do a weaving project, and much more. These are all new projects from last year, with just as much variety and fun.
