Alabama Outdoor Classroom Program
Faculty Survey /Dear Teachers,
We would like to design an outdoor classroom site on our campus through the Alabama Outdoor Classroom Program. An outdoor classroom can take many forms and include many types of “learning stations” as long as it provides hands-on, outdoor learning opportunities and allows all of the students to utilize multiple-disciplinary skills in a fun and exciting environment. For example, a butterfly garden can be used as an area to study life cycles, an inspiration for writing, a civics project about land use, mathematical activities using geometry or all of the above!
Please fill out the following 2-page survey and return it after the faculty meeting so that we can best meet your needs with our design. If you would like to assist with the development of the Outdoor Classroom or serve on the planning committee, please write your name and contact information below.
