I. Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 11:00 am.
II. Approval of Minutes
A quorum of voting members was not present for the meeting; therefore, approval of minutes will be tabled to the July BASPAG general meeting.
III. Chair Report and Old Business
USPHS Symposium Registration Extended has been extended until Friday, June 8th; Mentoring sessions for Health Service Officers will occur at COA during Category Day.
IV. New Business
LCDR Amy Chanlongbutra (NPS) introduced the presenter, CDR Sara Newman (NPS). CDR Newman delivered a special presentation to BASPAG officers entitled “How to Make an Impact and Still Have A Balanced Life”. CDR Newman discussed work like balance for officers, provided personal anecdotes, and engaged officers to participate in activities such as the “My Life Pie” assessment to identify and quantify the categories in which we spend most of our time. Feel free to contact CDR Newman for additional information and support.

c. Membership - LCDR Anna Satcher-Johnson
The Membership Committee is working on an email to be distributed to Commissioned Corps officers to encourage membership and participation with BASPAG. Once drafted the document will be distributed to BASPAG voting members for review. The Membership Committee is also reviewing all of the suggested edits for the BASPAG voting member self-nomination form and will send out a final version within a week.
d. Mentoring – LCDR Amy Chanlongbutra
LCDR Chanlongbutra assisting LCDR Raquel Peat on collecting comments for the HSPAC mentoring committee SOP.
e. Professional Development – CDR John Jaworski

f. Recruitment and Retention – LCDR Raquel Peat
LCDR Peat announced her resignation as the BASPAG Recruitment and Retention chair due to increased responsibilities and obligations. Voting members that are interested in filling this position, please contact CDR Valentin-Bon
