Cllr Steven Lambert

Steven lives in Fairford Leys and was Chairman of Parish of Coldharbour Parish Council between 2006 and 2012. He is the County Councillor for Aylesbury West and Aylesbury Vale District Councillor for Coldharbour Ward. This is one of the largest County Divisions with approximately 11,500 residents andencompasses Fairford Leys, Prebendal Farm, Hartwell Estate,Oakwood Park, The Willows Estate and Walton Court.

As a County Councillor Steven has an annual Community Leadership Fund of £3,125 a year to spend on community projects in the division and would welcome applications from local community groups.

Political career

  • Steven was elected to Aylesbury Vale District Council in 2007 and became the Liberal Democrat Group Leader in 2011. Steven went on to be elected as the Buckinghamshire County Councillor for Aylesbury West in 2013. He has also Chairman of Parish of Coldharbour Parish Council between 2006 and 2012.
  • Steven is the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesman for the Aylesbury Constituency (aylesburylibdems.com) and stood for election in the 2010 General Election.

  • Steven is a project and major change programme manager who worked in a variety of senior roles over 22 years at Post Office Ltd, before becoming a full time Councillor in 2011.
  • Personal life
  • Steven was born in Battersea, South London and moved to Aylesbury with his partner in 2001. He went to school at Sir Walter St John’s School, from 1981 to 1985 then to Battersea County comprehensive school until 1987.
  • Steven graduated from the Open University in 2005 aged 35 with a Social Science Degree, majoring in Politics and Government. Steven has a life-long passion for medieval history and is a member of the National Trust, RSPB and RSPCA.
