Prize money will be paid in Hong Kong dollars to respective owner, trainer and jockey accounts or in another currency upon request, at the Club's prevailing exchange rate at that time. Owners' earnings are tax free in Hong Kong; visiting Trainers' and Jockeys' earnings are subject to Hong Kong tax (currently 10.67%).
HK$1 MILLION BONUS :
CXHKIR 2007 – APQEII Cup 2008
The HKJC will award a HK$1 million (approx. US$130,000) bonus to the owner (at the time of the second leg - APQEII Cup 2008) of any horse which wins one of the four CXHKIR on 9 December 2007 and the APQEII Cup (HK$14,000,000/2000m /10f / turf / 3yo+) to be run in 27 April 2008 at Sha Tin Racecourse.
US$1 MILLION BONUS
The Hong Kong Jockey Club and Breeders' Cup Limited will co-fund a US$1 million bonus to the owner of any horse that wins both the
Netjets Breeders' Cup Mile and the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Mile in 2007.
