Let me welcome you and your child to 9th grade English. Together, we can make this a great school year! I look forward to working with your child and getting to know him or her.

In order to carry out the programs of the district in achieving the goal of having each student college and career ready, it is important to have good classroom discipline and communication. Therefore, I am using this method to inform my students and their parents of the course description, class expectations, rules & procedures.

Please take a few minutes from your busy schedule to review this and discuss the need for good discipline, and a goal-driven work ethic with your child. By working together we can make this school year a productive and positive experience! Your help is greatly appreciated.

Please sign and have your child sign where indicated. Also, please include the best way for me to contact you. I am asking that your child return this signed document at our next class. This will be his or her very first assignment!

I am looking forward to a great year and the opportunity to get to know your child!

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Nancy Paladino
