30th Annual Indian Child & Family Conference

The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Inc. is seeking proposals for 90 minute workshops for the 30th Annual Indian Child & Family Conference to be held December 4-5, 2014 at the Radisson Ft. McDowell Resort and Conference Center. The goal is to assist tribal family/social service programs to build and strengthen tribal service delivery systems that address the needs of American Indian children and families.
Proposals are requested for workshops that describe successful strategies to meet the needs of Indian children and families through policy, practice, and advocacy. We are particularly interested in submissions that increase competence and capacity; promote multi-system and community-based collaboration; respect and value diversity; nurture leaders; enhance evidence-based practices and decision making; and create parent, youth, and community partnerships. A list of relevant program areas is included in this announcement. All proposals must indicate the subject area addressed.
Proposals should be directed to an audience that include but not limited to social workers, case workers, foster parents, youth services workers, behavioral & mental health workers, early childhood providers, supervisors, program managers, administrators, policy makers, tribal leaders, and advocates that serve American Indian children and families

Note- ITCA is not able to provide travel expenses or honorariums for presenters, however, conference registration fees will be waived for up to 2 presenters.
