Montana Flag Purchasing
Requests to have flags flown over the State Capitol for presentation to individuals or groups is a service we are happy to provide. However, it is necessary that each requestor cover the cost of the flag, plus a small fee to cover the mailing expenses. Following are the current costs, which include shipping and handling:

If you would like a flag flown, please provide the following information: type and size of flag, the date you would like the flag flown (if no preference, we will fly at our earliest convenience), and a check or money order for the indicated amount, payable to the Department of Administration. If you wish, a certificate signed by the Montana Secretary of State or Governor will also be furnished along with the purchase of a flag. If you want to have an individual's name(s) and/or a short message on the certificate, please include that information with your request. Please provide your flag request at least two weeks in advance of when you need it and include the name of the person and address you would like the flag and certificate mailed to.
